Dog ear infections can be bad news for you and your pet.
The good news is they can be easily prevented by two key steps
1. Regularly checking your dogs ears
2. Cleaning the ears with a suitable ear cleaner.
I don’t advise using kitchen products like vinegar or peroxide in your dogs ear: if there is any infection this can cause pain and damage. I recommend a proprietary ear cleaner. In any event, if your dogs ears seem sore when you clean them you should take them straight to your vet.
